I went here for an altenator replacement. Six and a half hour later they finally got the parts but told me I would have to pay $151 for a front end alignment because they needed to remove the rack and pinion assembly. They had a cheezy print out that said right hand drive below the picture. Fine if we were in Europe. They then recanted the alignment and finally did the work. A day and a half for a 3 hour tops job. They finally opened the hood to do the work and needed to disconnect some radiator hoses to do the work. What is so abysmal is that they returned my car to me with the radiator 4 quarts low and didn't say a word about it. They also left the did not reattatch the top shroud. Just left it loose in the engine compartment. Had I not checked the fluid before going to Temple I would of ended up with a burned out motor and or disable on the expressway. So if you are in need of some new muffler bearings go here. Otherwise I suggest you stay away and seek out a mechanic that knows what he is doing. Their site says Master Certified, really?

I had great service at L& H Automotive. First of all they were open on Saturday which helped because a lot of places are only open while I’m at work. I thought I had an alternator issue because my battery wouldn’t stay charged even though I just got it in the past year. He told me not to stress. They arranged a tow for me & did a diagnostic. Come to find out, it was a wrong size battery for my car. I was so grateful it nothing worse. Communication is great. They kept in touch with me the entire time & let me know everything up front. Also they set up a ride for me to come get my car when it was ready. I will definitely go back for any service I may need in the future.

I almost Flintstoned my way into L & H Automotive off Rancier Street, and I’m so glad I did. The shop was easy to find, clean, and shockingly not a junkyard full of mystery car parts and broke down cars. Mr. Martin greeted me right away and listened to my version of what brought me to their establishment. He then took the time to run a diagnostic without rushing even though it was past closing time. While I waited, I learned more about cars from their TV in the waiting room, than I ever planned to which I loved. When he was done, he took the time to explain what was wrong with my car in plain English, not “mechanic language.” What I loved most? Zero pressure. They gave me the info and let me decide, no pushy sales tactics. I trusted them with my car, and I’m glad I did. The work was done quickly, I got text updates, and they even paid for rides to get me home and back. Fair prices, great service, and honest people. Highly recommend L & H Automotive and you should too unless you enjoy overpriced repairs and stress, then maybe go elsewhere.

Great facility to bring your vehicle for maintenance. The owner is very honest and professional in his trade. They break down all of the cost from parts to labor, you can literally track it down to the penny. They also take pictures to verify what they are doing and explain what your options are. One of the most honest shops in Killeen/Harker Heights. I will continue to bring my vehicle there.

I live out of town. And I’m moving to Killeen. I paid for all my parts on my Audi that needed to get done when I came back into town. They were ready for my vehicle.. I just called L&H and said I was on my way to town. They said bring it in the next day., they worked on my car and not only did they do the maintenance on it. They also let me know that it had a leak and they would be happy to work on it for me to just let them know.. see the thing is I knew there was a leak in it already so this wasn’t someone who made a leak happen in my Audi I knew there was a coolant leak so the fact that they not only did the maintenance on my vehicle but found something wrong with it and reported it to me says a lot about the shop…. They actually care about the customers., and they care about business. The atmosphere is amazing when you go there you treated me like family. If you have to wait on your vehicle, right next-door to them and s a food truck park. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I ate some amazing wings also. I recommend them to anybody whether you need an oil change or extensive work done on your vehicle….. the mechanics know how to work on Audi’s that should tell you everything yo
